Mission

The Benton Harbor Community Development Corporation is dedicated to strengthening the community of Benton Harbor socioeconomically, physically, and mentally by supporting and empowering residents through community development projects and programming.

Vision

The Benton Harbor CDC is dedicated to growing and supporting a thriving, socioeconomically and mentally sound Benton Harbor where residents share in the success and improvement of their community.

 

To achieve this vision we create people-centered programming in housing, community support services, and economic development that mobilize and support residents to participate in the planning and implementation of community projects that improve their quality of life, and attract residents to homeownership while developing quality affordable housing.

 

This work is multi-layered and can only be accomplished with partners in the community—residents, first and foremost, but also with community organizations, schools, anchor institutions, government, businesses and employers—that share in this vision.
